what's in my bag?

my usual work / school bag is this arcteryx mistral that i thrifted in osaka! it's discontinued, so i'm super happy i found it.

arc bags these days aren't great or worth the money (imo), but this one is lovely! it's super durable, easy to access, and deceivingly roomy. also, as my first messenger-style bag, it made me realize how much easier taking jackets on/off can be without a backpack... i love trinkets and shiny things so my dream is to add keychains on everything i own! i have two nara deer and an amulet for good fortune on this one.

i don't love the feeling of makeup, but i've been wearing it more often to convince myself to feel more put together. some cosmetics i carry are:

• compact setting powder, kissme heroine mascara, lash curler
• anessa sunscreen
• diptyque philosykos or le labo te matcha
• pencil and liquid liner (not particular about brand)
• some really old drugstore highlighter that might be expired

i'm pretty deep in the apple ecosystem and use a macbook + an ipad for class, even though i'm starting to transition back to paper notes. my ride-or-die headphones are refurbished sony wh-1000xm4's (i think? who designs these product numbers?) from many years ago. with two large electronics, a headphone case, and notebooks, i'm starting to think that i'm carrying too much around...

one of my most prized intra-bag possessions is a reusable spork that my boyfriend got me! he's very passionate about minimizing waste, as we should all strive to be, and it's great to not need disposable utensils when eating out. plus, it's really saved me on multiple forgetful occassions.
